7" single company sleeves

One thing that has caught my eye as I peruse the piles of 7" vinyl that seem to fall out of every cupboard are the wonderful designs that grace those singles that don't have a picture sleeve.
In a few days I have amassed almost 400 different designs, some quite plain, others full of colour and originality.
One thing's for certain, I am now hooked on collecting all the various designs - and am celebrating the fact by uploading scans of all the various sleeves to a gallery:

Many of the singles from the 60's and early 70's came without picture sleeves, artists such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who, The Kinks, T.Rex, Slade and David Bowie often came in plain bags, but by the mid 70's it was more common to see picture sleeves, and although these picture sleeves are wonderful in their own right, something was lost when the humble company sleeve became a thing of the past.
